Emily King leads children, youth & family ministry at Immanuel Lutheran in St. Paul. As someone who doesn't like to stay static for long, she has tried lots of new things at Immanuel. Not everything works, but she's determined to keep experimenting to find effective ways to remind young people that they are beloved children of God who need to spread God's love. Emily arrived in ministry after almost 2 decades of writing and editing professionally. She and her husband have 2 teenagers and a very loud cat.
